Our publications
Four publications, one method
Every publication on this desk works the same way: take the public claim, then find the fact that breaks it. Different beats, same standards, same publisher, and no paid placement in editorial at any of them.
ADOTAT
ADOTAT calls itself ad tech's least favorite trade publication, and works hard to deserve it. It follows the money through advertising: ad fraud, programmatic economics, rebates, resold inventory, measurement claims and the holding companies that control the spending. It is independent and reader-supported, and members of ADOTAT+ get the full investigations.
- Investigations: long, documented pieces, with the most shareable findings free and the full files for members
- The ADOTAT Show: long interviews with the people who build, buy and audit the ad market
- The Weekly Reckoning: a weekly podcast on the week's advertising news
- Unmeasured: a newsletter on the numbers used to buy and sell TV advertising
The Arizona Inquirer
The Arizona Inquirer asks who runs Arizona, and who pays for it. It covers state politics and investigations, public safety and policing, and hate and threats in Arizona. It was launched in 2026, and it is written in the same voice as ADOTAT, slightly less abrasive.
The New Mexico Inquirer
The New Mexico Inquirer asks the same question about New Mexico. It is the Arizona Inquirer's sister site, focused on in-depth investigations built with the same research techniques used in intelligence work.
The Hate Record
The Hate Record documents organized hate carried out in public view, especially on social media, including its series The Hate Ledger. It is the openly declared reporting arm of ANIA, and its stories are based on ANIA's research. Its aim is to understand hate, not to expose ordinary commenters. Private people are named only when there is a link to violence, a direct threat or criminal conduct.
ANIA
ANIA is a privately held, independent intelligence firm serving law enforcement. It is not a government agency and does not act under government authority. It collects from public sources only and voluntarily follows the federal 28 CFR Part 23 standard: no files on anyone for their speech, politics or religion alone.
