An investigator first
Pesach Lattin started his career as an investigator, not as an ad man. He did consulting work for the U.S. Secret Service as a credentialed special investigator, and in the 1990s he was one of the first members of the Secret Service's New York Electronic Crimes Task Force, working under its founder, Bob Weaver. In 2001 he worked out of the Secret Service's New York office at 7 World Trade Center. At 21 he worked the John Gotti Jr. case.
He is a former member of IACIS, the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists. He also served as the volunteer webmaster for the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association and later designed donor credentials for the FLEOA Foundation, work he calls an honor.
Then advertising
He made his first million at 21 building Future Games Network (FGN.com), an advertising network for games, in the 1990s, and sold it. In the same decade he helped build one of the first digital rep firms.
In the late 2000s he ran the ad network Vizi as CEO. While running it, he published reports on scam attempts, ran full forensic audits and said so publicly when the network got something wrong, which almost nobody else was doing. He saw the 2009 crash coming, was quoted saying so, and got out.
He is one of the co-founders of LeadsCon and has spent about 20 years in and around lead generation, so he knows its consent rules and economics from the inside. He also produced the official party program at MediaPost's OMMA for years and the official dinners at ad:tech, venues, guest lists and seating included.
Then journalism, by accident
He is not a trained journalist, and he says so. He came to it after years publishing trade magazines and decided to put his law enforcement and intelligence background to use. ADOTAT began as an extension of his consulting work and is now its own business. Its working method is simple: take what a company says about itself, then find the fact that breaks it.
In 2026 he launched The Arizona Inquirer and The New Mexico Inquirer to apply the same method to state politics, and The Hate Record, the reporting arm of ANIA, to document organized hate. He has also written for the Jewish press, including The Jewish Week.
His reporting desk includes Hargreaves Ledger, an automated research agent. Pesach decides what gets covered and approves every word and every email.
Off the clock
He moved from New York to Arizona in 2021 intending to retire. He has retired twice. Neither one stuck. He keeps the Brooklyn College medal and seal on his desk, along with its motto, Nil Sine Magno Labore: nothing without great labor. He has been gaming since Starflight on dual floppies and still plays Call of Duty: Warzone, decently.
Where he has history
Twenty-plus years in the business means history with the people he covers. He has known many of today's ad tech CEOs for about two decades, a lot of them as direct competitors. He co-founded LeadsCon, produced events for OMMA and ad:tech, built an advertising game network and an early rep firm, and has done contract work for Fox5 in Las Vegas. He still owns parts of several Las Vegas nightlife companies. When a story touches any of these, the story says so.
